NSight 5.2 informs about a new version but downloading yields an older version.

The new version is supposed to be build number 5.2.16321 but the 5.2 download URL will cause 5.2.16268 to be downloaded.

The only issue is that it keeps informing me upon restarting Visual Studio but thought it worth mentioning.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I’ll try to repo it on my computer, you can disable it via “Nsight visual studil → Update”

You’re right, the link is wrong, you can get the latest nsight 5.2.16321 from cuda 8.0 package
