Is it possible to do ubuntu installation from iso on Nvidia TX1 instead of using Jetpack ? Please help … I have installed all the versions through Jetpack , but somehow ROS installatons are not working on all the versions. I would like to install ubuntu through ISO file on TX1.

Hi moksgo,

moksgo,
If you look at Quick Start Guide,
http://developer.download.nvidia.com/embedded/L4T/r24_Release_v2.1/BSP/l4t_quick_start_guide.txt?autho=1491251165_bb33699bfb0e9f5e3267f62c3fd790db&file=l4t_quick_start_guide.txt

There are 2 major package, one for Jetson drivers and the other root file system. We use Ubuntu root file system as an example. Jetpack installation is simply a convenient way for developers to install everything needed for development. However, here is an example folks use different root file system under Jetson for your reference,
