NVDecodeD3d11 sample code fails with error CUDA_ERROR_NO_BINARY_FOR_GPU?

I tried NVDecodeD3D11 sample for decoding (the sample given in nvidia sdk for decoding) with GEFORCE GT820M GPU,but program generate a error :

CUDA_ERROR_NO_BINARY_FOR_GPU.

Can you please provide more details to NVIDIA. At least we need as below:

  1. Your config info: CPU, memory, driver version, CUDA toolkit and OS.
  2. A self-contained reproducer.

I’d like to make sure with you where did you get NVDecodeD3D11 sample. Can you please point me a direct link.

If you will download NVIDIA Video Codec SDK 7.1 then you will get NVDecodeD3D11 project in the “Samples” folder.

GT820M is GF117 chip eg. Fermi generation. Does scale down GF117 have decoder ?
