why JetPack-L4T-3.0-linux-x64.run call the JetPack-L4T-3.1?

Hi,

I run the JetPack-L4T-3.0-linux-x64.run in my ubuntu14.04.

but the default item is “JetPack L4T 3.1” in JetPack L4T component manager.

and the error message is :

Error: GIE cannot be installed on device. This may be caused … make sure following packages are installed correctly on device before continuing:

libgie1 libgie-dev

After these packages are installed on device, press Enter key to continue

Thanks!! (I’m in china)

The 3.1 version number was apparently an error.
You need to delete the downloaded/cached files, and re-download/re-install the jetpack.

Hi

I re-install the Ubuntu, but the default item is “JetPack L4T 3.1” in JetPack L4T component manager.

It still can not work

It is possible some people are going through a caching server…in which case the cache must expire. It seems some of the routes from outside of the US are still seeing the old/broken 3.1 version. I do not know how long those caches are set to last before expiring…you might talk to your ISP and ask how long caches persist to the NVIDIA URL.
