Sales told me to post this question here as they couldn’t answer it so hopefully someone will help me with this as I’m an lowly animator and not a tech at all (www.screamingpixels.com). I just bought the local version of MR and am wondering whether I purchased the correct version of MR for my needs. I also just bought Shave from Joe alter and want to render that in the normal Maya command prompt using MR. Sounds like with the version i purchased I have to use the standalone MR and really don’t want to have to learn something new as I’m on a deadline here. So the question is, can I render Shave in a Maya scene with MR from the normal command prompt with the version i purchased? Or should I have purchased the RLM version with a floating license? Thanks for helping keep me straight on this.
