Q. about 1030

Greetings!

Does the GeForce GT 1030 (GeForce GT 1030 | Specifications | GeForce) support:

  1. NVENC for video encoding?

  2. NVDEC for video decoding?

    Where can I read about support or not support for NVENC and NVDEC for 1030?

Appreciative for the answer!

GeForce GT 1030 == GP108 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Nvidia_graphics_processing_units) eg. scale down chip like GK208 and GM108
NVENC is missing.
NVDEC is not verifiable.
Your cross-post https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1023060/q-about-1030-

I have one of these, and can verify. No NVENC. Yes it has NVDEC (including 10bit vp9, which is a new feature on GP107 and GP108)

Thanks for your reply!

Thanks for your reply! Thank you for verifying!

It’s NVIDIA’s shame that you can’t find this information anywhere in official sources. Got GT710 (GK208) previously which DID have NVENC despite various misinformation that it does not. I wanted to get the Pascal performance improvement but got completely disappointed.
