Crash when using RTP_BUFFER_TYPE_CUDA_LINEAR buffer type in optix prime

I’ve constructed a model object from a PrimeMesh object like this using RTP_BUFFER_TYPE_CUDA_LINEAR (slight modified primeSimplePP):

void SetModel(string path)
	{
		contextType = RTP_CONTEXT_TYPE_CUDA;
		bufferType = RTP_BUFFER_TYPE_CUDA_LINEAR;
		context = Context::create(contextType);
		loadMesh(path, mesh);
		cudaMalloc((void**)&indices, sizeof(int3) * mesh.num_triangles);
		cudaMalloc((void**)&vertices, sizeof(float3) * mesh.num_vertices);
		cudaMemcpy(indices, mesh.getVertexIndices(), sizeof(int3) * mesh.num_triangles, cudaMemcpyHostToDevice);
		cudaMemcpy(vertices, mesh.getVertexData(), sizeof(float3) * mesh.num_vertices, cudaMemcpyHostToDevice);

		model = context->createModel();

		model->setTriangles(mesh.num_triangles, RTP_BUFFER_TYPE_CUDA_LINEAR,indices,
			mesh.num_vertices, RTP_BUFFER_TYPE_CUDA_LINEAR, vertices);
		model->update(0);

	}

but it crashed at model->update(0) line.

The RTP_BUFFER_TYPE_CUDA_LINEAR buffertype works fine with ray & hit arrays in my previous experiments.

Could you please provide more information on your system configuration?
OS version, installed GPU(s), display driver version, OptiX version, CUDA toolkit version.

If that was not with the latest OptiX 4.1.1 release, please try that.

OptiX version is 4.11 release. Windows 10, Visual Studio 2017, and this is the output of deviceQuery.exe:
