Nvidia GPU not detectable by Vulkan 1.0.61.1 when using Ubuntu's nvidia-384 driver.

Vulkan 1.0.61.1 used to work with my vulkan codes. However, after upgrading to Nvidia 384.90 driver all my codes have stopped working. Vulkan could not detect my Nvidia GPU. Instead only my on-board Intel Skylake GPU is recognised as the only physical device

Has anyone using this driver 384.90 encountered this same issue?. How do I fix this?
