Sign Up for NVidia Developer Network Broken

The terms and conditions link doesn’t work on the NVidia developer network. I inspected element on the link, and it turns out that there is no web page attached to the link, and there is a comment in the HTML saying:

<!--TODO - fix the terms link-->

I therefore don’t know what terms I have agreed to.

Also in order to create my account I was forced to opt-in to receive communications from NVidia. Using the term “opt-in” means that this should be an optional choice and therefore I shouldn’t have to accept to be allowed to create an account.

I’m not sure where was best to post this, because there isn’t anywhere on the forum for talking about the website, so I’m posting here because NSight was the program I wanted to download. (The links are to screenshots of the problems.)

Hi, samuel.bailey

You mean you can not sign up for NVIDIA Developer ?

Try use the account you login devtalk to sign in ?

I was able to sign up for NVidia Developer, though the terms and conditions link was broken, so I couldn’t see what the terms and conditions I was signing to were. Also, it forced me to “opt-in” to communication from NVidia, however there’s nothing optional about receiving communication if you have to tick it in order to create the account. They should either rephrase the option to “Agree to receive communication from NVidia” or actually allow people to deselect this box when signing up.

Hi, samuel.bailey

Sorry for the trouble. But can you download any other software or just you have problems about Nsight?
