Hello guys, I have the same problem
Arch Linux, GNOME Shell 3.26.2, 4.15.3-2-ARCH

So this only started after the update to 390.25, there wasn’t an nvlock occuring beforehand.
I just installed the old version - 387.34. It works great.
I’ve resolved my second problem for Vivaldi browser too:
There is a problem with previews for Start Page. It draws as black rectangles instead of page previews. It works correct with --disable-gpu
for Vivaldi and it occurs only for 390.25, not for 387.34.
I think is is related. I can reproduce it with 390.25 for my Gentoo, Arch Linux and Ubuntu
Installing an old driver isn’t the answer to the problem though. I’m just waiting for a fix for the current release as I’m staying with 390xx.
