Did you even look at nvidia_Changelog in the .run file?

For people installing using distribution packages, there is no indication of the existence of nvidia_Changelog file in the .run file.
All we have is Linux x64 (AMD64/EM64T) Display Driver | 390.42 | Linux 64-bit | NVIDIA which often doesn’t list everything that changed between releases.
