Current long-lived is 390.25, current official is 390.42?

What is this? A new version numbering scheme?

Sorry, I forgot to update the long-lived branch entry when I updated it for 390.42 today.

For some reason, the forum wasn’t letting me make posts or replies earlier.

Aaron, what 390.25 problems does it fix?

According to the changelog…

Did you even look at nvidia_Changelog in the .run file?

2018-01-04 version 390.12

Nope, I was quoting the driver release page - Linux x64 (AMD64/EM64T) Display Driver | 390.42 | Linux 64-bit | NVIDIA - which seems rather sparse.

For people installing using distribution packages, there is no indication of the existence of nvidia_Changelog file in the .run file.
All we have is Linux x64 (AMD64/EM64T) Display Driver | 390.42 | Linux 64-bit | NVIDIA which often doesn’t list everything that changed between releases.

That would depend on how well it was packaged for the distribution.
