Crash on FreeBSD 11.2 with nvidia-driver-340.107 on GeForce 320M

This is a ports compiled version as detailed here 228536 – x11/nvidia-driver: 11.2-BETA3 - fails to operate correctly

but it crashes the system and reboots on startx. Xorg.log only says “Failed to initialize the NVIDIA kernel module.” and later “no screens found”. There are no other errors in any logs that I can find.

Is the GeForce 320M in a 2010 Mac Mini not supported?

Here are the interesting bits from the kernel dump (let me know if you want to see all of it):

panic: page fault
