EMC configuration for latest L4T

Hi Nvidia,

On a newly developed carrier we are using flow control on UART0 and facing the common strapping problem with RTS which is also described here how to fix:

However the fix provided in that above ticket doesn’t seem to work with TX2 (R28.2) and we have NO means of altering our hardware since the traces are buried on inner layers between the Samtec Connector and a BGA chip.

Please provide a means to fix this problem like you provided in the above mentioned thread this would be highly appreciated.

Regards
Lasse

Also I would like to add that the instructions from nvidia provided in that thread don’t actually work. There is no emc-strap section and forcing to flash the dtb specified by nvidia bricks the tx2.
Some commands that actually work would be appreciated. Thanks

I check the r28.2.1 the emc-strap was in the file tegra186-a02-bpmp-quill-p3310-1000-c01-00-te770d-ucm2.dtb
You can update the bpmp dtb by below step

  1. replace the tegra186-a02-bpmp-quill-p3310-1000-c01-00-te770d-ucm2.dtb by your modify by
    cp your-modify.dts …/bootloader/tegra186-a02-bpmp-quill-p3310-1000-c01-00-te770d-ucm2.dtb
  2. sudo ./flash -r -k bpmp-fw-dtb jetson-tx2 mmcblk0p1
