Summer Internship available in San Jose,CA
We have a temporary position open for a candidate with excellent Linear Algebra, Linear Programming and algorithm development aptitude. CUDA is implied or I wouldn't post this here. The successful applicant will be able to contribute these essential skills to a small research team developing new scientific instrumentation that exploits the computational prowess of GPUs. The actual job postings are for a generic corporate summer intern, but the necessary skills for this project requires graduate level mathematics, so disregard the "High School or GED" requirement.

The development environment involves working with real time data acquisition and processing of mass spectrometry data from a prototype instrument. This will afford the opportunity to gain experience with vacuum systems, high voltage and RF electronics, ion detection systems and electronics, real time operating systems based upon Linux, FPGA's and embedded supercomputing. (note that we consider 10kV as high voltage and 1MHz as RF)
