Hi All, New to the forum but been using nVidia GPU’s on Linux for ages. This crash is on a machine used for MythTV Backend that just been upgraded from Centos 5.8 to 6.4. The graphics were stable on 5.8.
The crash is triggered by leaving X running. It will freeze after time, and X will end up at 100% CPU
None of the icons in the compose window seem to to do with attaching a file. If I can’t figure it out I’ll put it on a web server for download.
Thanks Ken

OK figured the attachment thing. The file contains full details of the system.
I have tried the 304.88 and the .84 driver. They seem to crash quicker. I had downgraded to the 304.64 version and that will run for approx 10 mins before failing.
If there are other tests or information I can provide please ask.
Thanks
Ken
I should have mentioned, when the freeze happens the mouse still moves the cursor but the screen fails to update. The keyboard Caps-lock and Num-lock no longer work. I can still access the machine over ssh to run the report and reboot it.

The old Centos 5.8 system was using the 275.09.07 driver. Does anyone see any issues if I downgraded to that one?
Thanks
Ken
