Green rectangle when recording/screenshots of Flash; GeForce GTX 650 Ti (310.44 driver)
I have a GeForce GTX 650 Ti and I'm using it with the 310.44 driver. When I try to screen record (Adobe) Flash areas on the screen or try to make screenshots of Flash areas on the screen, all I get are green rectangles. I've tried all kinds of screen recording software (FFmpeg, avconv, recordMyDesktop, XVidCap, and so on) and all kinds of tools to make screenshots (The GIMP, Mint's screenshot tool, and so on). If I boot a live CD, and Nvidia driver is not in use, screen recording and making screenshots of Flash areas works just fine. I want to keep using the Nvidia driver for my (Steam) games, but I also want to be able to screen record Flash games and such. What to do?

The environment variable VDPAU_NVIDIA_NO_OVERLAY set to a string representation of a non-zero integer.
