Tesla K40 Driver to work with non-nvidia display driver.

Hi,

I am facing some issue while installing the nVIDIA driver on DELL PowerEdge T630 server with nVIDIA Tesla K40c card. The system also has Matrox Electronics Systems Ltd. G200eR2 (rev 01) as the primary VGA device.

OS - CentOS 7.0

I have followed the guide - http://developer.download.nvidia.com/compute/cuda/7_0/Prod/doc/CUDA_Getting_Started_Linux.pdf. I have used the .run file method.

But the DKMS (installed from EPEL) is not working as expected, after performing “yum update” a new kernel was installed, but while booting DKMS didn’t build new kernel modules.

What will be the best practice in this situation?
