How to enable CUDA for the GTX 980Ti

I wanted to use my GPU to render a video. Sony Vegas recognizes my graphics but in the systems menu , it say “no GPU available” . Please tell me how can I fix that?

Exact same problem here. Using an MSI 980Ti Gaming card trying to enable Cuda with Dvd Fab video converter. The program auto detects if you have CUDA acceleration or not, apparently it does not detect it. Is this issue on the driver level or does every program out there that determines if you are capable or not have to be rewritten? There’s got to be a better way.

These are my findings so far in a similar thread with conflicting drivers:

The warning message might be the wall you’re running into with newer drivers influencing what features we have available.
