I used gstreamer-1.0 playbin to play a mp4 file, but it can’t show video, only output audio. I had print GST_DEBUG information but I can’t find some helpful log, is it problem?

You’ll probably need to give the L4T release, exact gstreamer command line, and any information (if possible) on the video format for anyone to be able to provide information.
My TK1 version is R21.4, and install gstreamer1.0 with
sudo apt-get install gstreamer1.0-tools gstreamer1.0-alsa gstreamer1.0-plugins-base gstreamer1.0-plugins-good gstreamer1.0-plugins-bad gstreamer1.0-plugins-ugly gstreamer1.0-libav
The test MP4 file is from http://sample-videos.com/
I downloaded the first one, 1.1MB size, 1080x720 resolution.

The monitor I use for direct access on Jetson isn’t actually capable of 1080x720, so I used the similar file SampleVideo_720x480_1mb.mp4 for test as a way to avoid any possible problem from that. I recognize the steps to be directly out of “L4T_Jetson_TK1_Multimedia_User_Guide.pdf”, which could possibly be out of date (I don’t know enough about it to say) and in need of additional information.
I can verify that this sends audio but not video. There may be additional issues when run without sudo, which shouldn’t be the case.
Can anyone here verify what changes would need to be made to the Multimedia User Guide if this is at fault for outdated information? See:

To play video playback with gstreamer-1.0, please use nvgstplayer-1.0 -i /home/ubuntu/SampleVideo_1080x720_1mb.mp4. You can refer to p.16 in Jetson TK1/Tegra Linux Driver Package Multimedia User Guide.pdf.
I can play this mp4 file with the above command in Sony 1080p TV. Model: KDL-40X200A
