color mgmt system compatibility/support?

What color mgmt systems, if any, are know to work with current linux/64 NVidia drivers?

Argyll, atm, does not play nice with latest NVidia; there appears to be no recent activity on a fix.

The color management of the Gnome desktop works. It’s run by the “colord” daemon. It can load ICC profiles for a monitor.

If you want to use that colord daemon without Gnome, then you need something that adds your monitors into its database. There’s a program named “xiccd” that can do that.

That’s what I ended up doing. I installed colord and enabled the service, then installed xiccd and start it at login. Then I was able to upgrade to nvidia-364.19 and have working ICC profiles. Not ideal, but it works for now.
