GTX1060 Windows10, failed setup CUDA 7.5

Hello All!

I have an Asus DUAL-GTX1060-O6G
and I use it with Windows 10 x64/368.81 driver.

When I wanted to install CUDA 7.5(cuda_7.5.18_win10.exe)
the follow error showed me
“This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware. You may
continue installation. but you may not be able to run CUDA applications with this
driver. This may occur with graphics hardware that is newer than this toolkit. In
that case, it is suggested that you keep your existing driver and install the
remaining portions of the CUDA Toolkit.”

Please help me, my applications can not reach the CUDA.

What is the solution?

… same problem with cuda_8.0.27_win10.exe

I ignored the error message, and kept 368.81 driver in both case
… but did not work.

My application can not build/reach CUDA :-(

Please help me.

It’s recommended to use CUDA 8RC with GTX 1060.

Ignoring the error message and continuing the install is the correct thing to do (and keep 368.81).

What do you mean “My application can not build/reach CUDA” ? Did you follow the instructions in the windows install guide for CUDA 8RC ?

It was/is W10 and Driver problem.
Now it is better with latest 372.54 driver, but it is not perfect.
