My OS is Ubuntu 14.04, and a freshly installed system was able to show both Quadro FX and Tesla 2070 cards in “NVIDIA X Server Settings”. But after some system update the output became empty, showing only “Application profiles” and its own settings. I tried to reinstall NVIDIA driver (the way described in NVIDIA docs), reinstall the “NVIDIA X Server Settings” (from Ubuntu Software Center or in terminal via apt-get), but nothing helps. lspci shows that nvidia driver is used. I understand, that the “Server Settings” is not so important, but sometimes it is very useful to check state of device. Does somebody know a way to fix this issue?
