Linux Mint 18 Sarah Freeze after Suspend/Resume

Hello everyone,

I’ve been having an issue and I’m hoping that someone much smarter than I might be able to help me. I’m running Linux Mint 18 on a Skylake CPU with the Nvidia GTX 1060 3G. The system becomes completely unresponsive about 80% of the time after resume from sleep and there is display corruption. I’m using the proprietary nvidia-367 drivers installed from the package repositories.

The problem persists on the 370 drivers as well.

I have generated the log file according to the sticky, however, there is no place for me to attach the file to my post. I can create a pastebin if it is appropriate. I’m not sure how other users are uploading files. I must be missing something obvious…

EDIT: Found the file upload!

Thanks for your help.

Appears fixed by disabling CSM in my UEFI. Error hasn’t occurred since.
