The default behavior with this monitor after installing the nvidia driver is for xrandr to see it as two displays side by side. Turning Xinerama on lets you use the monitor as intended (as one display), but Xinerama is incompatible with xrandr. For my work, I require xrandr support (for SDL2 and other things). Is there any way to properly unify the monitor’s split images without resorting to the xinerama extension?
